The second annual Star Wars Reads Day is fast approaching! On October 5th, 2013, libraries and bookstores across North America will embrace their inner jedi in an all day Star Wars celebration. This international event, hosted by Lucasfilm Ltd., teams up with publishing partners across North America to celebrate literacy with all things Star Wars, featuring some of the best Star Wars authors. Last year, 30 authors and 1,500 costumed volunteers participated in over 1,200 events across North America.

Del Ray Titan Magazines
Bookstores and libraries are invited to host their own Star Wars Reads event. Hosts are encouraged to get excited and promote their event on the Star Wars Reads Facebook page and in their local area. There are downloadable event kits, trivia and activity sheets available here.
